Tennessee –9 – This one is a gimme, as the number one ranked team in the nation takes on a very inconsistent Vanderbilt. All season Vanderbilt has been up and down since the injury to their star player Garland, who as of recent has decided to forgo the rest of his college career and will enter the draft following this season. Over their last 5 games they are averaging a measly 61 PPG while on the other hand the volunteers are handing out beatings averaging 88 PPG. With a coring margin of that size and Vanderbilt missing their star player, I fully expect No.1 Tennessee to win by at least 15.
Marquette -8.5 – Marquette has been one of the best home teams this year, in fact they have the best home record in the Big East this year at 13-0. I fully expect them to continue on that path against the Blue Demons tonight. There are three reasons i love this match-up tonight and two of them have the last name Hauser. Both Sam and Joey Hauser have been putting on an absolute clinic in the Big East this year, especially as of late. In their last two games the brothers are averaging a combined 38.5 PPG, they have been on a tear. And for my third reason I fully expect Marquette will be looking to try and get Markus Howard back to his usual self after coming off an injury two games ago against Georgetown. He still looked a little rusty last game against Providence scoring most of his points at the free throw line so i fully expect him to be back on track tonight.
Hornets +1 – The Hornets tonight play the Memphis Grizzlies who have been on a rapid decline with losing 13 out of their last 14. The Grizzlies are just an absolute disaster lately, they can’t seem to figure anything out. Now with the latest news about wanting to possibly part ways with both Conley and/or Gasol coming out look for the Grizzlies turmoil to continue. I think the also struggling Hornets will look to take advantage of the struggling Griz as they fight for the playoffs sitting in that final 8 seed slot.
Nets ML -230 – The Brooklyn Nets this season, I think to many peoples surprise, have been surprisingly pretty good. Right now Brooklyn is just behind the Celtics as the six seed in the East. In their last few games the Nets have beat some pretty powerful teams, which include both the Celtics and Rockets, proving to many they are not just a layup. I see the Nets take advantage of homecourt tonight and pulling out another win against this mediocre Orlando Magic group.
This is one of my favorite teams in college basketball this year. The have been dishing out ass-whoppings like its their job. I know the game is on the road and that is why the spread is only -8 but that is disrespectful to these Bulls. Northern Illinois has played literally nobody, and they’re only 10-8…Buffalo is going to come into Illinois tonight and put a beat down on these Huskies. They are outmatched in nearly every statistical category there is; PPG – Buffalo, PA – Buffalo, Rebounds – Buffalo, Assists – Buffalo, Blocks – Buffalo, and Steals – Buffalo.
I know this spread feels like a trap, but I cant help but take Duke, being the powerhouse that they are, with only a spread of -12.5. It sad that when Duke has a spread this high it’s considered low. That’s how fucking good this team is. We haven’t seen a good Duke blowout in a couple weeks now, which is why I think this spread is as low as it is for this Blue Devils team. I fully expect them to put the pedal to the metal against the Panthers tonight in a dominating victory. I don’t think the have a shot in hell tonight against the Blue Devils.
With both the Mavericks and Clippers coming into this game on a bit of a downward spiral I believe the Mavericks are going to pull out a huge win tonight. The Mavericks are a significantly better team at home (16-6) than they are on the road (4-10). Without home-court advantage on their side and Clippers struggling to slow teams down I have full confidence the Mavericks are going to win this game by double digits. I may even look to take the adjusted line! Follow me on Twitter @_TheBailout to see if I hop on the adjusted line tonight as well!
I love this game! A lot of people tend to get scared of the unranked team against a ranked team, but not this guy. Ohio State has the home court tonight looking to make a statement after 3 tough losses in a row, two of them to currently AP Top 25 teams and the the other on the road. Turnovers have absolutely killed Ohio State in their last two losses so look for them to clean that up tonight and put this losing streak to an end. Also as a bit of a side note Ohio State received over hundred votes between the ESPN Coaches poll and the AP Top 25 poll this past week.
This is a tough spread to take, but boy do I like it. Giving up 15.5 points to any team is tough, especially when they just beat this same team two weeks ago by only 16 points. The big difference between tonight and last week though is that tonight Buffalo is home. If they can put that kind of a molly-whopping on the road I can only imagine what they’re going to do to them at home. The average margin of victory for Buffalo at home this year is OVER 20 points per game. With already playing this team this year on the road and knowing how they play expect them to run Eastern Michigan out of the gym tonight.
After a big team moral and conference win at home against the Raptors Wednesday night, I fully expect the Celtics to carry that momentum forward against the sub-par Memphis Griz tonight. The Grizzlies are also coming off what might be one of their biggest wins of the season against the Bucks on Wednesday, but with both the Bucks game and tonight’s game being on the road, against two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, I just don’t think the Grizzlies have what it takes to keep up.
Last night the Knicks managed to actually do something right, while at the same time ripping the hearts out of any loyal fan or insane human that may have (for some unknown reason) taken them ML -250. Anyone betting the Knicks ML at this point in the season is a complete degenerate and is desperate for a miracle mid-week bailout. I honestly don’t even feel bad for anyone on the wrong side of this bad beat, the Knicks stink!
With the Knicks up 100-99 and 3 seconds left on the game clock, this looked like a guaranteed Knicks win, but in typical Knicks fashion they manged to completely fuck this one up. With .04 seconds left some bum Allonzo Trier (yeah exactly who the fuck is he) for the Knicks was called for goaltending to give the Wizards the lead 101-100. Are you kidding me!? GOALTENDING! That is just wrong. You should just quit betting if you were on the wrong side of this one. Somebody or something out there wants to see you lose, sorry.
At this point I don’t even know if the Knicks themselves wanted to win this game. I think they did the right thing here with goaltending that shot. You have no chance of any playoff hope and you need superstar talent. Why not just take the old “tank” approach and hope that you land Zion Williamson aka “Zanos”. I mean come on this boy was given a nickname by his own teammates based on a fictional supervillain that destroyed all of humanity, something tells me he’ll be pretty good.
Although Nebraska has won 20 straight games at home this season 3 out of 4 of their losses have come to current AP Top 25. The season-ranked Spartans are going to come into Pinnacle Bank Arena tonight and snap that winning streak in a dominating performance.
Oregon ML +210
This game has upset written all over it. With Arizona feeling high and mighty on a 6 game winning streak the underrated Ducks are going to sneak one out tonight on the road. The Ducks have battled and held their own with all their opponents this season, giving me full confidence against the Wildcats. The winner of this game is going to come down to who can force the most turnovers and grab the most rebounds, where I think Oregon has the slight advantage.
Coming off not only one their most demoralizing losses of the year, but a loss that set them back to second in the West, the Nuggets will be looking to make a statement against the measly 10-34 Bulls.
The LeBron-less Lakers are an absolutely atrocious team at only 4-7 in his 11 game absence. In tonight’s nationally televised game the struggling Thunder are going to be desperate for a win to get back on track. Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball dont have a shot in hell to take down two hungry vets like Westbrook and PG3.
